What a crappy weekend

Ugh. What a weekend! I don’t know if it was something going around or whether it was something I ate, but I spent most of Saturday in the bathroom exploding out both ends. Sunday it was just the runs, and Monday, I regretted having yogurt for breakfast. Duh!

Well, a couple of immodiums later, I seem to be somewhat stable. I can keep rice and chicken soup down, and have stopped the frequent bathroom trips.

I did step on the scale yesterday. It’d had been a month since my last weigh-in. And while I’m sure that 48 hours of the runs helped, I also think that I had done pretty well up to that point too.

Monday’s weight: 259. That’s down 13 from last month, and 116 overall.

    Hi! Been reading your blog for a while but this is the first time I’m posting.

    Your really such a motivation! I didn’t realize you had lost over a 100 lbs! Do you workout at all? Or is it just through eating Rachel Ray/Volumetrics?

    Duenneschen, thanks for the kind words. No, I’m not formally working out. When I started this a year ago, I didn’t want to exercise, so I didn’t. And earlier this year, I had wanted to start, but I’ve got fibroids, and working out led to more bleeding.

    I do think that being healthy involves exercise, so I do have a plan for exercising in the future.

    Oh, I do hope you are really feeling better by now.

    And rather than congratulate you on the weight loss, I’ll congratulate you on not letting being sick knock you off of eating well. I know that sometimes when I have gotten sick in the past, I’ve overeaten in order to try to make myself feel better. Never worked, though.
