I&#039;m going to recommend &quot;The Second Sex&quot; by Simone de Beauvoir - among other things, she perfectly details the condition of being Object instead of Subject. It was a groundbreaking book, and it&#039;s tragic that it&#039;s still so relevant, 60+ (70? 80?) years after it was written.</description>
