I definitely take the psychological approach to looking at the way we eat—partially that&#039;s because I&#039;ve been through a lot of therapy on the topic—but I think it&#039;s absolutely essential to look at the cultural and socioeconomic factors that structure not only the immediate pragmatics but the more insidious concepts that structure the individual thinking on issues of food, weight, and body.</description>
